On my Howrse profile I made a HTML layout, worked on it forever and all that.. I've already made a successful one for my friend's EC, Monkey Puzzle Tree Farm, that works. After several shots at it, and finally figuring out that I couldn't have several fonts in one code (I was going <[font color="white font face="Arial" font size="4"]> and I needed just <[font color="white" face="Arial" size="4"]> lol) and I finally got it to run through with Howrse, looked on my profile page... and it wasn't there!? Since I use Google Chrome, I thought (very unlikely as most layouts seem to work with it) that I'd try it with IE. Still nothing! So I get my friend Kitty1612 to check it on her computer - nothing still! All it is is an image up the top, four scroll bar boxes and a "this layout was made by me" down the bottom.
If anyone knows HTML can they check over my code, otherwise tell me what I'm doing wrong!
It looks like...

About Me
My name's Teri, and I come from Albany, New Zealand. I've grown up around horses (we have a photograph of me and my mother riding when I was at 6 months!) because my mother has been horsey since she was about 10. I live on a 5 1/2 acre property and we lease out "Tings" next door which is about 12 acres as well. We actually own 2 horses, but we also lease out another 2 and take responsibility for one. On our property me, my mothers and our friend's horses graze. Currently we have Willow, one of our free leases, she's my old 14hh Anglo-Arab pony (I'm starting to get too tall for her), Faro, my mother's crazy chesnut Hanovarian who my first Howrse is based on, Cody, another lease, a 16.2hh chestnnut station-breed cool dude that I'm riding at PC for this season, Satchimo, Olivia's horse, a dun part-Clydesdale that's going blind at 14 Sad, Tripper, a bay retired successful racehorse (Throughbred) who Olivia's riding, Cassius, Charlotte's very expensive horse that she bought because she became Deputy Master of Waitamata Hunt, and that's about it. Sometimes we have Polly's horses Babe and George, but not often. Also one of my mother's horses Fritz, a Dutch Warmblood (fluffy ears!) is in Kaiwaka with a friend, Denise.
Current News, Goals, Etc.
I'm trying to save up for an immortal Unicorn mare, then a stallion! When I get the money, I'm so getting one! Also trying to get some Friesians. Might go for some non-immortal Unis to start, dunno.I'm currently breeding some Friesians and stuff. Also I would love to rescue howrses from the Safe Haven, so if you are having an auction or SH thing please put it in, if I see it with no bids I'll take it in! Don't have unlimited money though so probably only taking under 750E for pity bids.[[UPDATE: No longer doing Pity Bids until I have either sold some of my current ones or I get some more money off breeding.]]
Current Howrses
Faro
My original Howrse, I'm never ever ever selling him! A chestnut Hano stallion, he's based after my mother's real horse Faro, a nutty little chestnut Hano gelding that was going to be gelded but didn't meet Hano guidelines.
Scoute
A pity bid, if I remember correctly. Was about to not sell and go to SH, and while SH must be good and all I'd much rather have Howrses in the game not the Haven!
* Olly *
A darling black Friesian soon-to-be stallion, who will help me start breeding Friesians
Black Calypso
My little filly, going to help out my breeding Friesian idea - when she grows up ;D
Princess
A pity bid. Currently in gestation from my Purebred Arab, Little Prince.
Little Prince
Decided to start out a Pureblood Arab program, then got sidetracked. Always offering coverings, if one isn't public message me. GP of over 450%!
Hot Chocolate
Barry man was trying to get away with a reserved auction, asked everyone not to bid etc. Hate people who try and reserve the auction. It seemed to be going too well, so I put in a bid for 502E at the last minute.
HTML!
I learnt how to do HTML this weekend, and it's really rather easy!
I made this layout, do you like it? I used one of my images that I took at Medieval Times (LA), edited it and then did the very time consuming thing of writing this script.
I wrote this all in HTML! I didn't set it up in HTML and then work in Normal, like I wanted to! This script took me forever, especially the My Howrses part as I had to constantly change the fonts.
I learnt basics through howrseinfo.com and also, suprisingly, a bit through..Neopets!? There's great sites out there that can help you, and it's a basic enough coding system.
Worst comes to the worst - do what I do - open up a Google Notebook and copy and paste reminders and codes into there and stick them all together!
This layout was made by chaucolai for chaucolai using chaucolai's images, so bug off!

And the code is..

Code:

Go to Layout, Edit HTML and expanded widget models, to find the widget code, which will be the same as in the following example. You can use the title to find the right gadgets. Replace the meat can be part of the style information. Normally, I would have had to put a background information in the blog section of CSS.
